On-Chain refers to transactions recorded on the blockchain.
On-chain refers to transactions that occur on the blockchain. These transactions are transparent and can be verified because they are recorded on the blockchain, a decentralized and distributed digital ledger. This is in contrast to off-chain transactions, which occur off the blockchain and are not publicly recorded. On-chain transactions include but are not limited to, the transfer of cryptocurrencies between wallets, the execution of smart contracts, and the mining of new blocks.
Sending Bitcoin from one wallet to another is an example of an on-chain transaction.
